If you set yourself a mission, a challenge, a goal, I believe you will achieve great guns. Last week, I set myself a challenge of generating 50 articles for the week. It is important that I achieve this as I wish to sign up 150 subscribers before the end of the month. I have another two weeks remaining.
Last week I actually generated 40 articles, which, in turn, created 15 subscribers. Okay, it’s not a huge number, but I have only just created this new niche and not all my articles are live. Some of them are awaiting acceptance with the article directory, so I believe within the next few days, all 40 articles will be up and available over the internet.
I intend to continue writing 10 articles per day for the next twelve weeks. I need to know if 200 articles per day can generate 2000 new sign ups per month.
What is your mission? What challenges would you like to achieve? How about signing up 150 subscribers to your website within the next two or three weeks? Or how about increasing the number of hits that you currently get to your site?
Create a challenge, a goal, and I’m sure, you will be spurned on to achieve it. If you wish to use article marketing to achieve your goals, then note the following:
#1 - You need to set aside some time to write your articles, say, two hours per day over the next five days. It is important that you make a note of the times that you intend to work on your mission. Otherwise, you will find that by the end of the day, you’ve been far too busy with normal tasks to fit it in.
#2 - Draft titles or headlines beforehand. If your mission is to write 20 articles over the next five days, then draft 20 titles or headlines first. Ensure that you make them interesting and riveting, which will increase the number of clicks made by readers.
#3 - Do some additional research. You may be in the fortunate position of being very knowledgeable about your niche. Even so keeping up to date on what others have to say is shrewd. Get some up-to-date, fresh information about your such via books, magazines and the internet.
#4 – Create bullet lists of instructions or things to do so that your copy is easy to read.
#5 - Start drafting. Each article should start with an intro, which leads to the body copy, and is completed with a conclusion. The intro can be between two and three sentences in length. The body copy two and three paragraphs, and the conclusion two sentences to complete. Your total word count for the article should be between 350 and 450 words.
#6 - It is important that you edit and proofread your work. You need to ensure that your article makes sense and that it inspires your reader to want to read more. Proofreading for grammar and spelling errors is also vital. If you send out work which is full of errors, you lower your credibility.
#7 - Submit your articles on a daily basis to the article directories. Do not leave the submission of the articles to the end of the week. If you do them on a daily basis, you will be attracting more traffic and signups on a regular basis.
Having a goal or a mission can spurn you to achieve huge goals. You can succeed at article writing and marketing over the internet, but you need to have a plan.
What would it be like for you if you could generate $5,000 plus per month over the net? Creating a plan is the only thing that’s stopping you.
