It is amazing the things you can achieve when you set yourself a goals. Over the past seven days, I have generated 40 articles for my brand new website. I did this by setting myself a goal.
Admittedly, the goal was to generate 50 articles for the week, but 40 articles are not too bad. How many articles can you generate over the next week or so? Why don’t you set yourself a goal?
You will probably be impressed at the number of articles you can draft, and we all know that generating articles is very cost-effective and will bring in loads of traffic to your website. The more articles you write, the more readers will visit your site and the more sales you will achieve.
So come on, let’s set ourselves a new goal and get writing. In order to set yourself a goal, do the following.
#1 - Write down exactly what it is you would like to achieve over the next seven days. Do you want to increase the number of subscribers that hit your page? Do you want to write 50 new articles this week? Whatever your goal is, make a note of it and write it on a large sheet of paper.
#2 - Set yourself some time. If you are going to create these 50 new articles then you need to break down the challenge into segments. How many hours will it take you to draft 10 articles? Set aside a goal to generate 10 articles per day over the next five days.
#3 - Make a list of 50 titles or headlines before you begin. These headlines or titles need to be inspiring and compelling. If you want people to click on to your article, to read it to the end, then you must entice them by creating good titles and headlines.
#4 - Do additional research into your niche. You need to give your reader useful information in your articles. The information you give should be fresh. If you read what other experts in your niche have to say that will give you ideas of what’s happening at the moment. Read their articles and include new statistics into the articles.
#5 - Begin to draft your 10 articles for the day. Each article should consist of an intro, body copy and conclusion. The introduction should contain two to three sentences. Your body copy between three and four paragraphs, and your conclusion two sentences. The total word count of your article can be between 350 and 450 words each. Ensure that your article reads well and is inspiring.
#6 - Editing and proofreading. It is very important that you edit and proofread your work. An article full of errors will not go down very well. It will only take you two or three minutes to edit and check your work for grammatical and spelling errors.
#7 - Submit your articles on a daily basis. Once you have completed your 10 articles for the day and then edited them, submit them to your article directory list. This will mean that while you are generating new articles, other articles are attracting traffic over the Internet.
The only way you will be able to achieve remarkable goals is if you set yourself an initial goal.
