Article Marketing - Five Questions To Answer About Your Audience
1) How diverse a group are your readers? If you know how diverse your readers are, you will know how specific to be in your article. If you are offering green energy, you'll have a pretty diverse audience. If you are marketing a nutritional product for menopausal women, your readers will have a lot more in common with each other and you can write far more specifically to them. 2) Just how much does your audience already know about the topic? This will give you an idea of how much detail to include in your article. If your subject is is meant primarily to quilters or hot rod enthusiasts, you'll be able to use much more technical jargon and specialized slang . If you're writing for a more general audience, it's better to stay away from the jargon and use vocabulary the common person at the mall will understand. 3) Exactly what do your readers desire to know about the topic? If you're writing about an acne medication, let the reader know specifically what the medication is going to do for them, how long it'll take to work and what do they have to do to use it. If you are marketing a course of instruction, tell them what they'll be able to do as soon they have finished the course. Keep in mind, you do not need to give away everything inside the course, only the rewards to them. 4) What aspects of the subject are of most interest to your readers ? In most circumstances, this will boil down to price and benefit. Your reader might wish to know a few of the features of what you are marketing promoting, but their choice to buy is going to be depending on this question: Are the rewards worth the price? It's your work to tip the scale to a point where the advantages outweigh the price to them. Do that by focusing the benefits. 5) How do you capture and hold their interest? If you have an excellent understanding of your readers , you will have a much easier time grabbing their interest in the start and holding it until the end of the article. You can attract a baby's interest by jingling your house keys in front of them. Your readers need something similar. Show them something of interest to grab their attention and then give them the facts they need to decide to buy. You'll be able to better bond with your readers once you know them and you know what they want . The successful article marketer is the one who finds out what people today want and then delivers it to them.
