Article Marketing Results Won’t Happen If You Don’t Write
Have you ever wondered if your article marketing results are worth the amount of time you spend writing? I have to admit there are days when I feel like there could be better things I could be doing.
I’ve been warned not to rely on feelings, especially when it comes to business decisions. I’m glad when it comes to marketing of my web sites that I listen to that bit of advice.
Take today for example – my article marketing results would be very low if I went with what I was feeling like doing today. It is a dreary day and all I want to do is wrap up in a blanket in front of the fireplace with a good book and a mug of hot cocoa and read a bit.
After I’ve put forth that much effort I want to crawl deeper into my blanker, set my hot cocoa and my book aside and take a long nap.
As you can tell, I’ve chosen to not do what I want to do right now, and I am writing. The reason I’m writing instead of napping is, right before I started to make my hot chocolate, I read my email. Fortunately for the good of my business, I had a message sent to me by a service I subscribe, whose job is to motivate and train me to keep writing.
The mail came through right when I need it. When I was just about ready to call it a day and succumb to laziness.
It is so easy for me to fall into bad habits on dreary days like these and even days when I would just rather be doing something else. That is one reason why I actually pay a small fee to a group of people who will keep me going and encourage me to write another article day after day after day.
I believe to get good article marketing results one must write every day, even if it is only one piece. In this busy world it’s easy to get side tracked and lose focus on what needs to happen in order to finish a job and do it well.
With marketing a web site, one needs constant exposure, and in order to get that an effort has to be put forth to do some kind of marketing on a regular basis. If you’ve chosen article marketing as a method of marketing, then you need to discipline yourself to write consistently.
If it is hard for you to stay on task you might want to consider finding someone to hold you accountable and to motivate you to write on a daily basis. You need to stay focused if you’re going to have successful article marketing results.
