In this article marketing review I will tell you how to succeed online by promoting products and services by writing. If you’re familiar with Internet marketing you may have heard of this concept before or perhaps it is new to you – either way you should benefit by the contents.
The main part of this article marketing review will be devoted to basic tips you should learn before you submit your first piece.
Tip number one:
Do your keyword research or have someone do it for you. Each report you write should be centered around a keyword phrase that you believe someone looking for your products, services or website would type into the search engines to find out information about what you are promoting.
When writing use the keyword at a density of 1% or once for every hundred words. For example if you are promoting a hair loss product a keyword phrase might be “best hair loss products.” If your report is 500 words, work the term “best hair loss products” into it five times. Don’t just throw it in anywhere. Real people looking for hair loss products will be reading what you write, so it needs to make sense or your writing will be for naught.
Tip number two:
Don’t try to sell someone on a particular brand. In the example above the purpose of your writing is to educate a consumer on what the best hair loss product should contain, not to sell them on your brand. They can go to your web site to learn more about your particular product. If you come across as a salesman you will lose your creditability. You will be seen as someone out trying to make a quick buck, instead of someone who is honestly trying to inform them of the what to look for in the best hair loss product.
Tip number three:
Don’t expect results after submitting one article. You may have seen the emails I’ve seen where someone wrote one piece and their website was flooded with orders for their product. I’m not saying whoever sent that email was lying to you, but I highly doubt if that happened it was on their very first submission to just one directory. It more than likely happened to someone who had years of experience.
So don’t quit after just one try. My first sale came after I had submitted 15 different pieces to 5 different directories. If I had quit after just one, I wouldn’t have had the reward of getting an email saying I had earned a $200 commission.
I would be remiss in this article marketing review if I led you to believe all my commissions are that high. They aren’t. It depends on what product I am getting paid for selling. In fact, I’ve been at this a little over a year now, and that was my first and only commission that high. Most of my commissions are closer to $15 to $25. But each piece I’ve written has the potential of reaching hundreds, even thousands of consumers, so even the small commissions add up.
