Article Directories Are Good For Business And Good For Marketing.

When I started out in the world of online advertising I was unaware of the impact a published article on an article directory could have on the traffic to my website. I tried multiple strategies from buying links, running ads on ppc search engines, submitting my site to all the search engines, and much more. Unfortunately, I never really saw an rewards for all the work and money I was spending on these strategies.

I began to receive advertisements from all the link buying and submissions I was doing. One of the links contained a free download for an article submission software, so I took the offer. After about 30 minutes of setting up the software and filling in the basic information, I submitted my first article. A month passed by and I didn't notice too much difference ... but then it hit. I saw my google analytics jump to over 3,000% traffic increase, I began to make money with my adsense program. Overnight I went from .30 cents a month to over $100, and it is still growing today from articles I published years ago!

Submitting articles is a very easy and quick process. By doing a google search you can find thousands of article directories looking for your submissions. The best part is, most of these sites are free for you! Many article directory sites also use RSS feeds which blast your article all over the internet to other web sites that subscribe to the directories RSS feeds. If you have been looking to add a low cost high impact strategy to your site promotion or self promotion, I would highly suggest article directories.

You can never submit your article to too many directories. Some sites will tell you only to submit to the top two or three. You can do that, but the name of the game is links. If you submit to two or three sites, you might get 20 or 30 links if they use RSS feeds and you have a good article. If you submit to 20 or 300 or 3000+ sites, then just imagine how many links you can build to your site! The more links you have, the better the search engine favors your site as an authority.

I have been able to track my own websites traffic surges by the articles I have submitted. I have even gained several number ONE positions on google because of my submissions. So it is now up to you to take action and get writing and submitting to the directories. What are you going to do?
