Astral Projection Help And Getting Started
It can be helpful to have some techniques to at least help you find the edges of the astral planes. What I mean by this is we've all experienced an interesting vibration or period of calm either as we go to sleep or wake from sleep. An excellent technique to get started with astral travel is to find this moment of relaxation and focus on it. There are many different ways in which you can achieve astral travel. The traditional method involves meditation calming yourself and approaching an almost sleep like trance. Then as you begin to notice your unconscious mind, you can then direct your travels or your dreaming in such a manner as to accomplish what you wish. However there are other ways to approach the state of mind as well. For example, yoga often brings a deep meditation that is unlike any other experience. Being in a calm relaxed and refreshed state of mind often leads to a closer connection with the physical body. As we manipulate our physical being, so to do we learn more about our spiritual being. There is no doubt that the two are intimately connected, but often times we forget about our unconscious mind or spiritual mind or astral body or what ever you want to call it. Yoga can bring you closer to the mindset required to achieve astral travel. However, that's not necessarily the only physical activity they can help you get started. Another technique is to focus two points of your body on one another and then meditate on that feeling. For example, laying down and relaxing is the way that most beginners to start. However, it can be useful to consider rubbing two points of your body together such as your fingertips. Once you get into a relaxed physical state such as a favorite chair, the floor, or any other place that you find relaxing, you can begin to rub the tips of your fingers together. Focus on the sensation. This is a lot like projections vibration which you will experience as you begin to further your astral travels. This can naturally lead you to the state of mind that you will acquire to access the astral planes. A final technique to consider is to explore the edge of your consciousness as you awake. As you become more aware of your dreaming experiences, you may notice a sensation as you wake up you have a certain amount of control over what you see and hear when you're not fully awake. Make a habit of staying in the moment, this moment as you awaken, for as long as you can. Don't get frustrated if it doesn't work every time. Sometimes in the morning you may be to preoccupied with everything that you need to do during the day. However in those times where you can focus on that sensation, then do so. These are all techniques that will help you achieve the mindset that you will need for astral travel and projection. Take your time, enjoy each experience for what it is. Remember, astral travel is a lifelong journey. Astral travel is a wonderful experience in of itself, but the journey towards achieving this state of enlightenment, will also yield its own rewards.
