Astrological Age, Can It Be True?

Astrology is not new to us. It has been a part of lives ever since we can remember. Our forefathers have begun using the stars a long time ago to understand the events around them. They used the stars and their alignments to predict the times for harvest and productivity.

This trend has never lost its luster. Up until now, astrology still remains a part of our daily lives. We turn to it and consult it to know what may possibly happen in the future. Astrology helps us better understand the things that we ought to do. It acts as a guide on how we can live each day of our lives.

With astrology’s popularity comes the astrological age of astrology. Astrological age is a period where certain changes in the development of people are going to happen especially those that relate to culture, society, and politics. All in all, there is a total of twelve astrological ages that coincide with the twelve star signs. When one cycle of the twelve signs is completed, another cycle of astrological age happens. The cycle that was completed is called a “great year” or a “platonic year”. It is said that this great year happens in 25,920 years.
There are three perspectives on astrological ages. First comes from the archeo astronomers. These people are interested in astrological ages because researchers believe that ancient civilizations showed differences in culture.

Archeo astronomers believe more in culture that surely reflect astrology.
Second perspective comes from astrologers. For so many years, these people study the stars though they actually focus on horoscopes.

Third perspective is the one from the general public. This is especially true with the astrological age of Aquarius.

Astrological ages are believed to be causing some degree of influence on people and the way they behave. There are people who believe in its actual and true influence. They say that the predictions of their horoscope signs have actually happened and they were able to prepare for these occurrences. On the other hand, there are also others who remain in their conviction that such astrological predictions are not true. They insist that the only reason why actual events coincide with predictions is that these have some psychological effect on people. In other words, when we believe it is going to happen, we might end up doing things that may lead to these predictions.

This issue may still be a topic of debate by most people today. Forums and discussions are going on to give clarity to this topic. But even as these are going on, psychics and astrologers have come together to work and convince everybody that they are not talking nonsense.

Astrology has survived for centuries. After all, astrology has helped our forefathers in many ways. Maybe this is exactly why it has survived through time. Astrological ages can really be true. It is just waiting for other people to really believe it as true.
