Asus Vh198t Monitor Review - You Must Read This Before Buying

This little LED monitor, the Asus VH198T is quite a gem. At only 19 inches it has all the quality of some of its bigger rivals. Dressed in glossy piano black, it will sit nicely on your desktop with a very small footprint, and to keep it all in order, it has incorporated into its stand a handy cable tidy. Isn’t that helpful?

On the back of the monitor are the DVI and the VGA inputs as well as the audio input for the integrated speakers. The front of this unit has on the bottom right of the bezel, a line of hotkeys, which enable easy setup with the multi-language OSD. With 5 presets and user defined, you can be sure that there is something that instantly suits your need.

The stand has a 5 degree tilt forward and a 20 degree tilt back angle, which is plenty for sitting and working, shooting bad guys when gaming, or for relaxing while watching a movie. This unit also has ASCR, which is Asus Smart Contrast Ratio, Technology built in to it, which adjusts the backlight luminance automatically and gives a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1. This is great for gaming and night settings in movies.

For one of the smaller LED models, the Acer VH198T will leave you satisfied with both its functionality and its performance and at a price that is appealing too.
