Australian White Wine - Various Types Tell Unique Stories To Tell

There are various types of Australian white wines; and each type has unique characteristics and taste. Generally, Australian wines are well known for its amazing taste and diversity; having various wine types made of different grape varieties.
Australia has various environment conditions that are ideal for perfect growth of different grape varieties. Each of these varieties grows in various environmental conditions. Some grape varieties grow well in cooler regions while others prefer warmer environment.
Thus, each wine variety has a unique story to tell. For instance, Chardonnay has a story that dates back around 1920's when it was first brought to Australia. Since then, Australian wine makers had been manufacturing Chardonnay wines until it became famous that this variety of grape is widely planted across Australia by 1970 up to the present.
Chardonnays are very common in the Yarra Valley, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra, Tasmania, and the Riverland among many others. These regions have different climate and texture of the soil; that is why Chardonnay coming from these places has its own unique classy taste.
The Sauvignon Blanc is another type of Australian white wine that has another extraordinary story to tell. This type of wine is one of the famous types across the world with increasing popularity for its richness in flavor and complexity. This type thrives well in cold climate. In this case, regions like the Yarra Valley, Tasmania, and the Adelaide hills are ideal for different varieties of Sauvignon Blanc.
But, what is good about this variety is that it can also adapt well even in warmer regions like the Margaret River; except that its taste is quite distinct and classy especially when mixed with Semillon that further brings out the extra flavor of the wine for perfect taste.
There are still many other types of Australian white wine like the Chenin Blanc, Marsanne, Colombard, Reisling, Pinot Grigio or Pinot Gris, and Viognier just to name a few. Each of these types has its own unique story that brings out its distinct characteristics and classy taste.
