Always make sure you have elected a trustworthy friend or family member to tend to your finances while you are away. Otherwise, if your insurance policy is cancelled due to lack of payment, you may not able to explain your way back into the “preferred” rating plan and may have a difficult time finding a new company to pick up the policy. While many companies will insure a “high-risk” driver, customers can expect to pay a much higher price than “preferred” clients.
