Congratulations to Autocar india for getting the new Zen right and also claiming it as a SCOOP. This comes more than three months after the news was reported in this space (and was really a scoop then). The Autocar India scoop even comes a month after Car India reported the new Zen (even though they got the platform wrong) and many weeks after Maruti's erstwhile marketing head, Kinji Saito remarked suggestively to newspaper journos that "The Zen brandname will continue even after production stops (for the existing model)" Maybe, the childish enthusiasm to claim any and every story as a scoop got the better of even a sensible magazine like Autocar India.
