Autodesk 3ds Max 2009

Autodesk has gave us the honor of a 2009 version only 6 months after the 2008 version. Why? Simply because the company wants to align the outputs of Max on those of its other products, an issue of stewardship. For this 2009 vintage, the star of the software firm is not alone, but accompanied by a so-called Design. The latter is dedicated to the visualization and implementation of architectural projects and design. Worry, you will not have to tear your hair (with the functions Hair, of course) to know which version to buy, the differences between the two offers is minimal. I will say a few words at the end of this article.
The previous version of Max was great emphasis on the optimization of all kinds, including one on display, very impressive. Let's see what will happen in the 2009 draft ...

Objective beginners

Max 2009 seems to have at heart to look on the poor beginners in 3D. Firstly, we note the launch of the program of new films show more complete. But the will of accessibility does not stop there. Two new tools for visualization and navigation are introduced. A cube, first, now occupies the top right corner of each window. It aims not only to learn about your position on the stage, but also turn it around easily.
You can use it in two ways: either by clicking on one of the indications on the cube (top, bottom, but also points) to reorient the stage, either by clicking and dragging on the cube to rotate the it interactively. What seems at first sight be a gadget, especially for those familiar with the keyboard, works very well and can never be lost even in complex scenes. Besides the possibility to return any time with one click to view ¾ default.
The other navigation tool is dedicated to travel: the steering wheel, allowing you to zoom, to Pan in the scene or move through it. The function takes the appearance of a hard transparent, easy to use and which will allow any beginner to better manage its collection of books and s'y movement. Useful small gadget associated with the tool, a Rewind button to "rewind" your movements. It thus becomes easy to retrace his steps, in real time and in any view of the interface. Finally, a menu associated with the proposed tool, if you find the wheel too intrusive, other smaller versions and adapted to certain types of manipulation.
