Avatar Movie
Avatar - (also Pandora's departure for James Cameron's Avatar) is a science fiction film directed by James Cameron. The film mixes real and computer-rolling scenes. Large parts of the film were shot in a virtual studio with newly developed 3D digital cameras. Avatar is with 2.395 billion U.S. dollars revenue (February 21, 2010) the world's most financially successful film (inflation and relative return is not considered). He is the first film ever, that has the 2-billion-dollar revenue. Prologue In 2154, the raw materials of the earth are exhausted. People have begun to look into the vastness of the universe for alternatives. Responsible is Corporate Resources Development Administration (RDA short), an aerospace consortium, which operates on Pandora, an Earth-like moon of a fictional planet called Polyphemus in the star system Alpha Centauri, a mine. The degradation of the coveted commodity Unobtainium and despite military base connected to be difficult, since Pandora is surrounded by a poisonous atmosphere, and also for people living an intelligent humanoid species known Na'vi. This movie involves the artificial creation of human beings from Na'vi and DNA that are virtually identical in appearance to the native people (in contrast to the Na'vi possess these chimeras on each hand five instead of only four fingers and five toes instead of four ) are controlled by association of ideas by each of a certain person. With the integration of these avatars in the community of Na'vi the influence of man is to be increased to the natives in order to win this for their own purposes. Senior researcher of this program is Dr. Grace Augustine, whose intentions in contrast to the RDA Group are not based on profit interests. The harmonic balance of the life world and its inhabitants on Pandora fascinated (for example, the neural network of all trees), she is friendly with her entire staff to Na'vi. However, since the first "missionary effort" (construction of schools, provision of medical equipment, etc.) apparently failed, the company seems to assert its interests by military means to want to, which in turn leads to tension between Dr. Augustine and the mine management in the form of Parker Selfridge. Former U.S. Navy Jake Sully, who has been paralyzed since a combat mission from the waist down, is temporarily sent to Pandora to participate in the Avatar program. As a "Notersatz" for his recently deceased twin brother - despite her lack of experience in this field and in the absence of any scientific understanding of genetics has only Sully conditions, the body of an "artificial" Na'vi control - the former soldier finds himself the open suspicion by Dr. Augustine suspended. For the paraplegic Sully himself stands in the foreground against the end of the mission have enough money to have spinal surgery that would cure him of his paralysis. This makes him finally agree to the military to make its findings available. As a reward for him is the head of the military security service, Colonel Miles Quaritch the full restoration of his physical health with the aid promised to the operation.
