There is NO such thing as a lose weight quick method that will be the answer to your weight issues! Fad diets are not to be followed. Look out for the following 5 red flags: 1. No physical activity required! Your body needs the physical activity along with diet modifications in order to be healthy. This is something that is essential for any weight loss program or health promotion program and should not be ignored by what fad diets offer. 2. This will make those pounds melt off! Losing weight fast is not healthy and can adversely affect your body. Weight loss through healthy measures should be your goal because it allows your entire life to be transformed with more energy and can help you prevent disease. A weight loss of 0.5-2 lbs per week is healthy. 3. This supplement, drink, etc will be the answer to all your weight loss issues! There is no such thing of something that just melts the fat away. Look for safer alternatives. 4. Limit your food intake to these foods only and you will lose that stubborn weight! Why do you want to limit yourself on what you can eat? A weight loss program is hard enough as it is, don't limit the kind of food you can have. There are so many health foods out there that can create amazing meals, why would you limit your food intake when you can just eat a wide array of healthy, whole foods? 5. If you eat a ton of this food and that food, you will drop 4 sizes!Eating too much of a certain food is boring and it can be dangerous! Everything in moderation is what your body needs! Fad diets all promise that you will lose the weight quick and the above 5 issues are reasons why these diets should be avoided. How do you feel about that? The most important thing to remember is whenever you decide to lose weight, you are affecting your health. By losing weight you can prevent yourself from certain diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. That should be your focus to losing weight. Wouldn't you rather make changes that can fit in any lifestyle, offer unlimited food choices, helps you lose weight, AND prevent disease? You can have all this by just adopting an overall healthy lifestyle. It is not about losing weight quick, its about becoming healthy which will enable you to do the things you are missing out on and at the same time feel better about yourself. You should look more at adopting healthy eating patterns such as switching to whole wheat pasta, bread, flour, as well as focusing on fruits, vegetables, lean meats, olive oil, and healthy nuts. By eating healthy in this manner, you will feel more energized, sleep better, and all around feel better about yourself. Plus, there are so many different meal options with eating healthy and with whole foods that it is not possible to get bored!
