Awakening Mind/body Connection For Dealing With Interstitial Cystitis

There are many people (especially women) who are suffering from a condition known as Painful Bladder Syndrome or Interstitial Cystitis. This is a condition that causes a person to have frequent and sometimes very painful urinating experiences. For some, the discomfort can be mild but for others, it can be unbearable. You have the urgency and overwhelming feeling of having to urinate. The pain is worse when the bladder is full and lessens when the bladder is emptied. Although there are many treatments for this condition, there are ways to awaken your mind and body to deal with interstitial cystitis.

There have been studies that have shown that people who get in touch with their inner selves can actually help to train their bodies to deal with the response to pain in a much healthier, less painful way. Alternative treatments are out there, but many people have no idea where to begin to look for such things. Holistic doctors can help to guide you in the right direction as to what alternative treatment will meet your particular needs with your condition.

Many have tried alternative methods of treatment with great success but, again, your personal outcome in such things will vary, depending on the severity of your condition. Some of the treatments you can find in the local health food stores may be such things as cleansing remedies, natural herbs, and essential oils, just to name a few. You can also do toxic cleansing to help rid your body of toxin buildup, which can also mimic symptoms of various illnesses.

By getting in tune with your body and its needs, you can be well on your way to a better healthier life. One that has better control over the painful symptoms you experience. You will be on your way to having a body and mind that are in tune with each other, making it easier to tackle what ever comes your way. Remember that healing will not be instant, it doesn’t happen overnight. This will be a gradual process that you will have to work through. Remember that with any type of treatment you are considering, you should consult your doctor so you do what it best for you and your particular condition.

Not every treatment will for work for everyone and there may be times that you will have to try more than one to find the one that works best for you. Try not to get discouraged and stay focused.
