Baby Brother
This is the immediate reaction: Where did this invader come from? Why is it here? Just put it back, okay? I don't want it. The older baby just goes on with his life as usual, until he realizes that the baby is taking up valuable mom and dad time. He will then think and do everything he can to attract attention back to himself, as it should be. He will shriek and throw things and in general make a complete nuisance of himself so the attention will be taken from the baby. He also sees that not only is mom and dad using his old bibs and burp cloths (I am NOT a baby anymore!) but also they are dipping into the sacred toy chest. The toddler now takes further measures by throwing temper tantrums and crying without provocation. This really gets the attention of mom and dad now, but not the attention he wants. The mother, on the other hand, is a smart, active proactive parent who knows that this will happen. When the toddler was a small baby, she used a baby sling to carry him around. As a newborn infant, the toddler really liked the sling. So warm and cuddly, and right next to mom's heartbeat and food if necessary. Although he does not know this, he misses the baby sling. When he sees little brother being carted about in a baby sling, he reacts unconsciously. However, the active proactive mom has the dad carry around the toddler (for a limited time) in another baby sling. As soon as the toddler is back in the baby sling, he immediately feels better and no longer feels the jealous issues of only moments earlier. Baby? I don't know what you are talking about. I am warm and cuddly again. Is it nap time....? Snore. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Chris Puttere is a trained photographer with a passion for online business.
