Baby Shower Decoration Ideas That Are Simple And Inexpensive
Rubber duckies are very cute and fun. Have punch in a baby bathtub and float a rubber duckies in it. Put water in clear bowls and place a duck in each and place around the room. Rubber duckies also make great anchors for balloons. Take a clothes line and stretch it across the room and hang baby booties, onsies, diapers, blankets etc. Clothespins or cute baby safety pins can be used. Tie balloons to each end of the clothes line for a more creative affect. For tablecloths use receiving blankets or crib sheets. This is a very easy way to coordinate with any theme. Instead of using a table to display the gifts use a stroller, crib, or a wicker laundry basket. A large laundry basket is great to use if you are using the clothesline. Baby keys and pacifiers can be used for napkin rings. Baby bottles and jars make great decorations. Tie ribbons around them and fill with candy. Set them around the room to anchor balloons and use as them as gifts for the guests when they leave. Baby jars also make wonderful votive holders. Don't use vases for the flowers use baby bottles instead, very cute. Choose the season the baby is born in an go with it. A winter baby can have can have small Christmas trees decorated with rattles, pacifiers, toys, and booties. For spring babies use a Easter tree and decorate like would the Christmas tree. Umbrellas turned upside down and filled are also great springtime favorite. Summer babies use a wading pool to hold gifts and decorate with sand buckets. For fall babies you can use teddy bears with gourds and pumpkins. Decorating for a baby shower can be great fun. To keep cost down, look around your house for any items that can be used and have your friends do the same. Start collecting baby food jars early on.
