Baby Won't Sleep?

If your baby wont sleep it could be colic. Usually if a baby cannot sleep and they are still tired the baby will cry, and when this happens more and more it is called colic.

If you are pretty sure your baby does not have colic (not crying) but baby still won't sleep, then it is really not a problem, for you or for baby. It may just be that your baby does not need much sleep. If it is like insomnia then you should see a physician.

If like most parents of sleepless babies you find that your baby cries instead of sleeps then you are in the same boat as many parents with colic. Typically a colicky baby wails for more than 3 hours a day and does not sleep a great deal , the howling is often more intense in the evening.

The good news, in my belief, is that now you know what it is you can deal with it. The problem is, now you have to figure out how to treat colic. There are lots of ideas on how to cure colic, but I am pretty positive I have it worked out. My methods do not take days or weeks to take affect and are very straightforward. You will get you baby to sleep in moments. I admit that sounds like one of those crappy extreme claims but it is true.
