Balance Your Body's Ph – How To Make The Effort - You Do Need To
The way we eat, the foods we ingest, the kind of water that we are prepared to drink, the stresses that we impose on ourselves, all serve to send our pH out of whack. Today, more than at any other time in history, we consume more and more processed foods. The trouble is that so many of us would lay claim to not eating much in the way of processed foods, but dig a little deeper and you will discover a picture that is in direct contrast to that belief. If you shop in supermarkets, chances are that the bulk of your food is processed. Bread, milk, meat, and even eggs have all been tampered with, so that they are seriously compromised in terms of providing health benefits. Chemically treated, containing unnatural genetic materials, and laden with additives and preservatives that we can hardly pronounce, they serve to seriously damage our health over time. Those mentioned above are what most of us would imagine are the staples of eating. But imagine a further mode of compromising your health, just by ingesting the 'treats' of life - ice-cream, cakes, biscuits, cordials, sweets, and the plethora of sugar-laden breakfast cereals that we have come to accept. It's time for change! There is a revolution beginning and you can be part of it. It requires a change of focus. It demands energy to face the causes of our acidic state (fast food, coffee, and the likes) and it calls for a focus on clean, unadulterated foods that will target your acidic hot-spots and restore your pH balance. There is one thing that we largely have control over in life, and that is, our pH balance. What you eat, what you determine to put on your plate, will determine whether you will enjoy success. Even small changes in how you choose to live and eat, can impact greatly on how well you will be at a cellular level. It's no secret that a healthy body is determined by the health of its cells, as disease begins at a cellular level, and not in the organs, as we are led to believe. If your cells are in check, there's a very good chance that your body will remain healthy and disease-free. So how do we ensure that our cells remain healthy? It all boils down to what you ingest into your system by way of food and water, though other environmental factors do play their part. We have to realize that the air we breathe and the contaminants contained therein will end up in our bloodstream. Of that we often have little control, either at work or in the environment, and so it is vital that we take control of what we can. What we choose to eat will eventually end up in our bloodstream, be it heavily-processed food, organic vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds or whatever. Our bloodstream is a river of life at a cellular level interacting harmoniously with all our organs and systems at particular levels, and the only way to keep all this running smoothly is by having our pH in balance. Foods that promote a healthy pH! Concentrate on foods that cleanse and oxygenate, such as organic fruits and vegetables. These are more effective when eaten in the raw state. Rich in antioxidants, they will also serve to re-mineralize and cleanse the body. Drinking green vegetable juices will also promote an alkaline pH. Animal protein, grains, and most nuts are acid-forming in the body, and whilst certainly not to be excluded, should form a minor part of your caloric intake. Regularly saying no to processed foods is vital. Balance your body's pH and experience a new, disease-resistant energy-filled life.
