Ballerina Wear - Four Tips To Dress Your Child In Her First Class

It is safe to say that every mother want to see her daughter dressed up as a ballerina. And it is also every little girl's fantasy to wear those beautiful pink tutus and shiny pink ballet shoes. That is why it is important to dress your girl exactly like a true ballerina on her very first class.

Take note that she needs to be perfect from head to toe. Begin with her hair. Research for the right style and accessories. It is then followed by the main attire which are the tights and leotards. Followed by the legendary tutu and lastly, the lovely ballet shoes. All these must come together in harmony to invent the absolute ballerina.

Following are some suggestions on how to dress your daughter on her first class so that she will feel like she is a natural ballerina.

Hair Style
When it comes to hair styles, it is a signature look of ballerinas to look prim and fresh with the hair pulled back in a bun. It makes them look proficient. When they are on stage dancing, their hair are styled according to what they are portraying. Flower decorations for example if they are playing fairies or crowns if they are princesses or queen. But in ordinary daily ballerina class, a clean bun with ribbon or something to accessorize the bun will do the trick.

Stockings, Leggings Or Tights
For little girls, ballet schools usually prescribe a matching pair of ballerina tights and leotards with a simple ballet skirt. Every so often, pink or white tights or stockings with black leotards are also allowed. It is cardinal, especially if you and your daughter are really serious in studying ballet for a long time, to go for something resilient; a brand with fabric or material that will last for a long time. There are some brands that use materials which easily break or get flabby in the process of wash and wear. Good brands and materials are at times classy but they are worth it in the long run.

Ballet Skirt and Tutu
At times, skirts and tutus can be of different color than the rest of the outfit. It comes in pink, white, blue or black colors. You can mix and match it with the other elements of the ballet uniform. Ballet skirts are used in classes most of the time and tutus are worn for actual performance and dress rehearsals.

Shoes
For beginners, ordinary ballet shoes or what they call the soft shoes are worn the entire class. As your daughter progresses on her education, she will then learn how to wear the toe shoes or the Pointe shoes. The fit is important as well because ballet lessons and dancing can be traumatic on the feet and legs especially for beginners. That is why making your daughter as cushy as possible by picking the absolute dress and shoes is very critical.

Aside from the customary ballet attire, you can pack your child's backpack with towel and additional outfits. Sneakers, socks, shorts or khakis are the conventional outfits worn by girls on top of their ballet outfits. They are easy to take-off when the class is about to start.

Both mother and daughter are excited especially during the first day. For sure, you would like your daughter to assimilate well with the other ballet students. These tips will also make her fit right at home and will reduce her shyness.
