Basic Information On Clenbuterol

Clenbuterol or clen is a drug that can be used to stimulate the breathing of asthma patients and also used in weight loss programs. This drug is commonly found in a complex compound called hydrochloride salt since the chemical compound cannot exist as a molecule. In normal people it causes an increase in ones breathing capacity, stimulates the central nervous system, and increases the blood pressure and also oxygen transportation.

Clenbuterol is used in asthma patients as prescribed by doctors. In weight loss it varies its use with time, however commonly people use it in short intervals since the body gets used to this drug pretty fast and further incremenst in dosage will have no effect since the body will have gotten used to the drug and you may become Clenbuterol resistant. Increasing ones dosage needs to be done at intervals and in minor portions since increasing ones dosage will cause unwanted side effects. This drug has been also used as a performance enhancing drug since it allows the body to increase its metabolism and endurance, meaning that the body dissipates more heat as a result of increased activity. The body will have more energy to dissipate and thus the performance of one is improved, its use however forbidden for athletes since it would give them unfair advantage.

If one happens to take an overdose of Clenbuterol, one will experience tremor and shaking of the muscles, headaches and dizziness, gastric complications, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, myocardial infection, tachycardia and diaphoresis. To avoid these symptoms one is required to administer the specified dosage. Once somebody has ingested an overdose it is advised to drink lots of water for in excess the drug is noticeable in urine and thus the more one urinates the more the drug is expelled from the body. Of course a doctor must also be seen immediately in case of over-dosing.

Clenbuterol is also used to treat respiratory infections in horses where it can be taken orally or intravenously, in cattle it is used in relaxation of the uterus especially during parturition. It is required that it is administered to the animals by a certified veterinarian since it has been associated with food poisoning when it is administered in excess quantities. If ingested in contaminated foods it will cause stomach upsets and aches and diarrhea. This has led to restrictions in the use of Clenbuterol in animals the United States, the only animal that is allowed to use this drug are horses.
