While a person affected by acne is searching the stores for another miracle cream or lotion or goes to see their dermatologist in frustration, there are many others who will say that the way to be acne free is by changing their diet. When folks from Korea, Japan or Italy come to live in America, and either them or their children change their eating habits to be more similar to the eating habits in their country, they will develop acne also.
Many researchers believe that until dietary changes are made, you can't be acne free. They think that it doesn't matter what medications you take for acne, you won't see the results that you desire or should get because the damage to the skin is being done daily by the food you consume. Research has further shown that those who drink colas are especially likely to get acne. Furthermore, this is proven by the fact that people who drink soda are more likely to be teenagers who coincidently are the ones who suffer with acne the most.
