Be Guided By Your Coach In Practicing Softball Hitting
Softball hitting is considered the most difficult skill to teach. There is no wonder why most of the coach pays attention on how they could teach hitting the ball effectively. However, the coach should be patient as always with regards to teaching his team in hitting the ball.
To make the practice more effective there is a need to discuss first the activity of the day. If the team is about to practice a drill pertaining to softball hitting, it must be discuss clearly and accurately. In this way the player will have an idea about what needs to be done. After discussing about the activity or practice to be carried out, their must be someone who will going to demonstrate how this softball hitting tips and techniques being done. In this way team will be able to absorb what the coach needs to impart. It will be advisable if the coach will be the one who will execute the hitting the ball correctly. The coach will be able to gain more respect from the team when he enables to do all the skills that precisely.
Discussing all the important things alone is useless that is why to make all things clear proper demonstration is necessary. There will be no doubt, that the players can grab quickly the information and the skills that the coach teaches if it is properly discuss and point up. After the coach had properly discussed and demonstrate what he needs to impart, he can now let the players execute what they have learn. The coach should give his comment right after the player performed the softball hitting. In this way, the comments and corrections that the coach needs to say will never be forget. The coach can also take down on his notes each comments or mistakes that he had observed when the player individually execute the softball hitting. However, it is more effective if the coach states at once his comments after each player perform softball hitting that the other one.
When you are about to practice softball hitting, make it to the point that your coach and the entire members of the team are present. The coach will take a great part during the practice of the team. For the reason that, he will be responsible to give any comments and suggestion with the way how the hitting being carried out. This is to let the player know what makes their performance in hitting the softball wrong.
The coach should also be very understanding when the player can not easily adapt what he had just taught. As we know for a fact that every individual has its own characteristics and abilities. Always bear in mind that in order to make the softball hitting drills more effective, the coach presence is needed. This is to insure that he will be guided his team. Furthermore, he will be able to notice the other weaknesses of his team that needs more to develop.
