In order to start up as a VoIP wholesaler, one will have to spend a considerable amount of money in setting up the infrastructure and in purchasing the technical equipments needed for call transmission such as gateways, switches etc. However, the gains from this field are high and this is precisely why an increasingly large number of people have set up wholesale services of voice over IP.

The main advantage of being a wholesaler of voice over internet protocol is that since they provide maximum traffic to the provider, they are able to command the market price of VoIP minutes. Hence, it is definitely a profitable venture to take up.
