The Lomme bed has to be one of the most striking beds I came across while researching this article – it is also known as the 'spaceship' bed and it kind of looks just like that! LOMME stands for: Light Over Matter Mind Evolution. LOMME is not just a bed it uses many techniques to create the optimum sleeping environment through light, music and massage. One of the most exciting elements of the LOMME bed is the built in sunrise awakening:

The iCon Bed

Completely disregarding the theory that in order to have a good nights sleep you should remove all technology from your bedroom this design embraces it. The iCon bed is actually designed to work along side your iPad to help you get a better nights sleep. The bed frame comes inbuilt with two iPad docking stations either side of the headboard not only that but the bed offers the option for you to hook up your iPad to a surround system oh and I almost forgot, they're fully adjustable! This bed is the result of a collaboration between Therapedic and Hollandia International and will set you back a cool $20,000.
