Beginners Guide To Using A Mouse
If a person is a beginner in using a computer it is very essential to know how to use a mouse. A mouse is a hardware which is attached to a computer by which one can operate many functions of the computer without using keyboard. Firstly how to hold a mouse: One can hold a mouse between the thumb and the ring finger, normally a mouse has two buttons on its surface, and one can operate the cursor on the computer screen by moving the mouse, some kind of mouse do have more buttons but vastly the mousse having two buttons are more in use, one can push the left button by using index finger and right button by middle finger. There could be a ring in between both the buttons it is used for page up and down in speed or according to necessity. When it was asked to ‘click’ it means push the left button. What is a mouse pad and why we need it? A mouse pad is a square sheet of pad on which a mouse is kept, it is used for smooth movement of mouse if the surface on which the computer setup is installed is rough because many mousse have a ball attached to it in bottom and this ball should move flawless to move the cursor properly and it also protects mouse from scratches. So a mouse pad is a very important component and it should be kept clean from dust or greasy mixtures. What is clicking? When the user wants to send some command to computer by mouse it is called clicking, it is a simple but very important operation, if someone wants to send a command to the computer one has to just aim the cursor to the required command and had to gently push the left button and the command will be send, one will hear a ‘click’ sound on pressing the button that is why this process is called clicking. It is very important to keep the curser steady while clicking, as if the mouse moved then it is possible that one can send wrong command. So by keeping these things in mind one can start using mouse and increase the speed of work, beginners can face some problem in beginning but as it is said ‘practice makes the man perfect’ so in a short span of time one will start using mouse flawlessly.
