You might not be aware but your computer can't communicate with different hardware components without an up to date drivers. Typically, when your computer can't find needed drivers, the CPU would lock up that will then cause hang ups. Try also to increase your virtual memory, this can help.
Strange Noises
Most probably, theres a problem in one of your computer hardware if you're hearing noises when your computer is turned on. Hence, it is important that you make a through check up on your computer as soon as possible. Never miss checking the wires and the fan as they are often the origin of the problem. If you know you cant handle checking your computer yourself, you can ask help from an experienced computer technician.
Spontaneous Reboots
If your computer spontaneously reboots some time after you turn on your computer, you most likely also have a problem in one of your hardware just like your cooling fan or cables. It is possible that your cooling fan is dirty or has defects or your cables are not attached tightly. Do a thorough check up.
