Taking a cruise is one of the most fun vacations that you can take because it gives you a large amount of options when choosing where you want to go and for how long. There are many destinations that you can choose from and depending on that choice you will be able to decide what to wear on your cruise. If you are cruising to Alaska for instance your clothing may be heavier than is you are on your way to the Caribbean. Of course you are going to want to have a good selection of cruise friendly clothes for wearing aboard the boat.

One important thing to remember is that you are not going to have a lot of room in your cabin so make sure that you do not bring everything you own. You should have casual clothes that you can wear on your off days from the ship. Also you want to check with the cruise that you are taking as see how many formal night they have because you need to have dressy clothes for these nights as well.

On formal night men usually wear either a tuxedo or a dark suit and women can wear there favorite cocktail or evening outfit. You want to also make sure that if you are going to be dining in the main dining room for dinner that you have some casual dressy clothes as well. Men will want to wear nice pants and a nice shirt that has buttons. Women for dinners can wear things such as sun dresses, nice pants and a top will work also.
