Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S2100 – I have written quite a lot of Sony Cyber-shot digital camera review in my blog and they are quite popular amongst my readers simply because Sony makes some of the best cameras in the market.

Pros – In this Sony Cyber-shot digital camera review, I said that the camera works on 2 AA sized batteries and the interface is user friendly. Even a newbie will be able to get hold of it really easily. The three inch LCD is also big enough and viewing photos on this camera feels really good.

Cons – This is not a perfect camera though, in my Sony Cyber-shot digital camera review, I said that this device is not rich in features. There are other cameras having better feature set for the same price. The photo quality too is far from perfect. In my lab tests, the photos looked smeary and soft.

Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR – Just like Sony, FujiFilm is another big brand in the digital market and hence I get a lot of requests for Fuji film Finepix camera reviews for my blog. The Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR that I reviewed here is a compact megazoom camera but it comes with a few compromises.

Pros – In my Fuji film Finepix camera reviews, I wrote that the Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR has very reliable Auto EXR mode, the presence of wide angle lens too is appreciated in such a camera. Apart from that, the camera has good dynamic range and the ISO performance too is worth taking note off. Finally, I must praise the manufacturer for packing a 10x zoom in such a small chassis.

Cons – This camera is really good but it does have some bad patches. My Fuji film Finepix camera reviews of this product says that the Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR has limited settings for aperture and the menu systems need some time to get used to. You get just a six megapixel resolution in the two EXR modes.

Canon Vixia HF R100 – My blog covers a lot of digital camcorder reviews, and amongst the various camcorders, I really liked the Canon Vixia HF R series which give good video quality for its price.

Pros – In my digital camcorder reviews of this gadget, I wrote that it has a functional and straightforward design. The Canon Vixia HF R100 also has jacks for mic and headphones which is a bit rare in this price class.

Cons – The video quality in low light conditions is very poor and so is the color accuracy. My digital camcorder reviews also said that the Canon Vixia HF R100 has short battery life and the camcorder’s lens doesn’t focus closely.
