Better Exercise Workouts - 7 Ways To Supplement Your Workout Routine With Healthy Habits

Exercise workouts must be supplemented with healthy habits. This may sound as a pretty simple advice but many top body-builders often tend to overlook it.

Here is my list of top 7 things you should do in addition to your daily exercise workouts.

1 - Quit smoking. When was your last attempt? In any case, it is always worth trying again.

2 - Drink a lot of water. A normal adult should have at least 8 glasses of water a day. And that is way more than most of us drink in an ordinary day. So instead of soft drinks, have a glass of water. This is a simple but very effective way to control your weight.

3 - Make your own coffee. Coffee shop drinks have typically more calories than home-made coffee. This is because coffee shops often use whole milk in their coffee. Strictly speaking though, coffee is not a very healthy drink and you should consume it with moderation.

4 - Eat your veggies. Your mum was right: eating your veggies will make you stronger. No seriously, vegetables have much fewer calories than things like meat and full milk. Plus they come with lots of other vital nutrients.

5 - Laugh more. Well, no jokes here: laughing has a great effect on your body’s metabolism and helps you shed toxins. Laughter decreases stress hormones, improves your blood pressure and has lots of other advantages. Plus it makes you feel okay.

6 - Have enough sleep. Your body repairs itself while you are sleeping. You simply can’t do without this vital component of our live. An adult should sleep about 7 hours a day.

7 - Avoid alcohol. Drink water instead (see 2).

Exercise workouts help you build a great and balanced body, but only a complete healthy lifestyle makes you a happier person.
