Biblical Parenting Will Always Bring Success To Your Family - Part 1

Why is Bible parenting vital for you to consider on your path to becoming the best parents possible? The answer is simple - You cannot separate parenting from the Bible.

It contains time-tested truths from our Heavenly Father that can bring you to the highest level as a parent. Parenthood was created by God. As soon as you try to separate from His way of doing things, your parenting and your children will suffer.

Contrary to what many say, children do come with a manual.

The choice is simple:

1) Dr. Spock opinions based on man's ideas, or

2) The absolute truths of family life from your Creator.

Yes, there are absolute truths in this world, as painful as that may sound.

The challenge we all face in looking for wisdom in raising our children is that you can't find it all neatly placed in one chapter called the Book of Parenting. Bible verses on parenting can be found, however. So, we will break it down for you in small nuggets of parenting wisdom. Here we go:

1) Celebrating the family is a top priority.

Matthew 12:25 - "But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them,'Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to destruction, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.'"

When is the last time your entire family enjoyed a fun activity? Make sure you find a fun way to bring the whole family together at least once a month (a picnic, a hike in the park, start a family fun night with a movie and popcorn). Celebrate family as a most precious gift from the Lord.

2) Your marriage sets the course for your parenting skills.

Hebrews 13:4 - "Marriage is honorable among all and the bed undefiled."

In a thriving marriage, both husband and wife always keep the goal of showing honor to one another as a top priority. There may be disagreements, but honoring one another stays first. This atmosphere of honor is learned by your children.

3) Mothers reflect the nurturing grace of our Lord.

Ephesians 4:32 - "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God forgave you."

Giving love and unconditional ACCEPTANCE to our children is the cornerstone of true motherhood. This is shown through YOUR WORDS, YOUR ACTIONS, and YOUR ATTITUDE.

Success in parenting only comes with following a plan and having an unending supply of patience. The best plan and the only source of unending patience can be found in one place - the Holy Scriptures. Make use of the Bible verses about parents and watch success come to your family.
