If you have blackheads you know how noticeable and annoying they are even if they aren't as obvious to everyone else. The minute someone looks at you, you start wondering "are the checking out the cluster of black demons on my nose"? There are many blackhead treatments, some natural remedies and some over the counter products, but regardless of the treatment used many people have noticed that the less they use the more noticeable the results.
It all depends on knowing the causes of your acne blackheads and your personal reactions to different treatments. Some of my friends swear by just cleansing with water. They used to over-wash their faces and apply so many different treatments at once that their skin became dry. This meant that their skin went into overdrive trying to compensate for the lost moisture and produced too much oil ... leading to more blackheads or other forms of acne.
On the other hand, I know others who have tried using less products and they have ended up have more break outs than before. So, they wash their faces several times a day and apply a few topical treatments for different areas, simply because they have tested it and know they need it.
Just try to find the right combination for you by experimenting. If you find that using too many products irritates your skin, try just washing your face and applying a topical remedy on the areas that need it when they need it rather than all the time.
Like me you may also notice that your skin is better at different times of the year. For example, my skin is very dry in the summer months so I use more products whereas in the winter months my skin is very sensitive so I use less treatments and only when I need to.
