The blog and ping process that I personally dislike, not to be confused with a blog ping, is where software is used to spam ping services. We all know spam is bad. The manual process they use goes like this. • You set up a free blog account. • Add the free blog RSS feed to your My Yahoo page. • You post to your blog every 15 minutes for several days. • You then ping blogging services to let them known about your Splog. Quite like you must make every effort to ensure that the website for your Internet business is user friendly across the board, you also need to make completely sure that consumers can access and ultimately purchase your products or engage your services through your blog. Blogging satisfies the most important need of search engines "fresh and updated content". By adding new posts to your blog the search engines will come and visit your blog more often and more posts mean more links to your websites if you add a link to your websites in each of your posts. Most blogging software already have build-in ability to ping those kind of services. Usually, you only need to enter the address of the service, and everytime you publish a new post on your blog, it will automatically ping the services on the list. Make sure to only ping specialized services if they're relevant to your blog, otherwise you'll cause an undue burden on them. Is the subject of your blog conducive to making money? While the beauty of Blogging is that you can write on any topic you choose, there are topics that don't lend themselves readily to any sort of monetization. If yours is one of these blogs you might consider creating a second blog that is more easily aligned with advertising. Alternatively you should consider the use of keywords as a way to increase your search engine footprint and your traffic. The more search engine traffic you are able to acquire, the more likely you are to make money from your blog because more viewers means more spending potential. Market your services on your blog: You can also advertise about your skills and profession on your blog so that more and more people know about the additional skills you have. Advertising your services on your blog will improve your relations with the existing customers and at the same time you will get new customers also. So, a blog will open new ways of earning money.
