It brings benefits to both the writer and its readers. It allows the writers to share experiences and expertise that may help others. Readers can raise questions and concerns on certain subjects and it can be discussed in the blog by both the blogger and other readers. Interaction with other people becomes possible and someone who feels alone in their opinions and views can find people who share them.


Since its birth, blogging has evolved into a business attracting both vendors and consumers. Its popularity has spawned different ways to earn from it. Companies hire professional bloggers to write for them. Bloggers post adsense ads and affiliate marketing ads on their blogs to earn money. Companies buy popular blogs and use them to suit their needs and taking advantage of its popularity to advertise and market their products and their partner’s products.

Creating a blog for profit is not an easy task though. With a lot of blogs discussing the same topics and more blogs spawning everyday, competition in the blogging business is pretty tight. Not to mention the battling for a higher rank in search engine results. To be able to profit from blogs one has to build one’s reputation and create interesting articles that will attract readers. Think of a unique approach and try to be different from other blogs. Create a lot of traffic and sustain it.
