Bollywood Is Bigger And Better Than Ever

From its very first inception back in 1913, the bollywood film industry has taken off like a bullet. But it was not until sound came to the big screen almost 20 years later that the industry’s main theme was born. One of the biggest differences between these films and those of today is that they still heavily rely on song and dance as their main genre in making films. And while such movies came in went in more popular film cultures like Hollywood, bollywood has proved over and over that you should never stop a good thing when you have found it.

On the other hand, while elaborate song and dance routines still captivate audiences and rule the stage it is the fact that these industries has taken advantage of the technologies of the film industry today as well as taboo story lines that has propelled it into proverbial stardom. While just ten years ago you would hardly see much bollywood news generated outside of India you can now see it all over the world. But what makes people of other cultures wonder is how these ‘taboo’ story lines can make these films so popular.

Everyone of a certain age will remember when story lines that included same sex relationships and the such first hit the stage of popular film industries like Hollywood. Not only did they create a stir in the news but in homes all over the country. However, such topics are now considered common place. In fact, in certain cultures like America there is not too many subjects that are left to surprise people On the other hand, in cultures like India such topics like pre-marital sex and same sex relationships are not only considered a touchy subject for bollywood masala films but are very taboo in their modern day culture and society.

But what seems to amaze everyone is that these films are not just popular in India where it is not common place but also all over the world where society has become quite jaded. How is it that these type of people can become so captivated by something seen as commonplace? The answer to this is that these bollywood videos and films are so fresh and “different” that they are able to captivate all that watch them into experiencing these feelings all over again anew.

So what was once a dream for children all over the world to become famous Hollywood actors has changed considerably over the last ten or so year. Now you will find children and people of all ages in India and beyond aspiring to be bollywood stars instead. In fact, what was once looked upon condescendingly as something ‘different’ has now become a household name all over the world. These films have finally gotten the recognition they deserve as being a film industry great along side the likes of Hollywood, and is now considered one of the largest film industries in the world.
