Boosting Sales With Novelty Treats Like Candy Pills

Finally, be sure to carry traditional treats in varieties that are not-so traditional. For example, when carrying M&M's, carry them in colors that do not come in standard bags and make it so that customers can purchase all one color. With gummy rings and worms, up the ante by carrying new shapes and flavors, like gummy octopi or neon gummy crawlers. Kids are always going to love having something none of their friends have seen before.

By introducing items into the inventory of a store that are not available elsewhere, store owners can get a hold on the competition. It will brand the location as being "the store that has everything," so customers will check there before anywhere else if they are looking for something. Carrying novelty items like candy pills, oversized chocolate bars, and pop rocks will keep the candy lovers coming back.
