Boy Butter was created in the mind of Eyal Feldman in 2002 while he was studying Spanish and enjoying the game of water polo at the age of 24 in Barcelona, Spain. He envisioned a lube like Boy Butter that would be the perfect lube, and nine months later in the United States, Boy Butter was born!
Eyal Feldmans hometown is Los Angeles, but the real energy behind Boy Butter comes from New York City, which is where the headquarters of the Boy Butter lube is located. The company grew very quickly, so in 2004 Eyal did move the company to Los Angeles. Once the company moved, production of Boy Butter lube really took off, and the company has grown immensely ever since, becoming a full fledged manufacturer.
In December of 2005, the scientists who work for Boy Butter made a scientific breakthrough in the industry by being successful in producing the first stable water based cream personal lube in the industry. Before this Boy Butter breakthrough, cream lubricants were oil based, and were not conducive to safe sex because the oils would break down latex. The tube version of Boy Butter remained incredibly popular during the time of the introduction of the new water based cream, and the popularity of the new squeeze bottles rose quickly in sales as well. Boy Butter was well on its way to becoming one of the most widely used lubricants ever.
