Build Chest Muscles - How To Build A Massive Chest Fast
So what's the secret to building a massive chest? Well there are actually 2 simple steps which I will talk about below. Step 1: Break away from the Bench For years no matter where you went, what you read or who you talked to we were told that the bench press is the #1 exercise to build chest muscles. This of course is why on chest day we go to the gym and pound out dozens of sets of bench presses from every angle possible in hopes that we see some rewarding gains from our efforts. The truth of the matter is that while the bench press is a great exercise and should be included into your chest workout the reality is that there is another chest exercise that actually helps you build chest muscles faster than the bench press will. What exercise am I talking about? The exercise that I am talking bout is the Pec Flye. What???.....Yes thats right focusing on properly executed pec flyes will actually produce more muscle gains for you than bench pressing will. Now this may be hard for some of you to believe but if you think about it, it really does make sense. With the bench press you are using muscles such as your triceps, lats and shoulders to help you press the weight up. This however is not the case for pec flyes, instead you are using almost none of these muscles to perform the exercise, therefore placing a lot more of the focus directly on your chest. This will of course lead to more muscle gains within your chest. Step 2: Implement the PO Method This method of training is not really needed in order to see gains, however if you want to see faster consistent gains than you need to start including the PO method into your workouts. The PO method stands for the "Progressive Overload" method. This is an incredibly powerful method of working out that will not only help you build chest muscles but will help you to build all of the muscles of your body at a much faster pace.
