Build Your Own Squeeze Page – 4 Key Issues To Deal With
1 – You need to make your page stand out by including something unique. This doesn’t mean that you cannot promote affiliate products that other people are selling. Instead, you should add your own twist to the story – try to get inside the minds of your readers and understand their needs and frustrations. After all, you are trying to solve a problem with your offer. Before you build your own squeeze page, you should take a look at other, high-ranking websites and study their style and presentation. You could adopt their style and layout without copying details. After all, you don’t need to reinvent something that clearly works well already. 2 – Avoid having too many fancy graphics or particularly flashing images. These are proven to get a negative reaction from people. Even if you are promoting something as an affiliate you should consider having new graphics that nobody else has. A clean-looking webpage, with an uncluttered look and feel works with most people. Don’t try experimenting with unusual text fonts or sizes and colors. Use only the tried and tested standards. 3 – Create a free report that you can give away in exchange for the name and email details of your prospect. Do not underestimate the ‘power of free’. You can easily pull together a short report from my different sources on the internet. The report should, of course, be relevant to your main offer and must be of interest to your chosen niche. Compile the report using a word processor and then convert it to a pdf format. You should also take the opportunity to brand yourself in this report so that it can contribute to further promotion for your business. 4 – Have only one call to action. This is very important to avoid confusing your visitors which usually results in them leaving your site. Do not include other side-links to other offers on your squeeze page. The single objective is to get people to sign up to your mailing list.
