Build A Shed - The Right Way
Don't have the time Most often, when people say they don't have the time, it's because they are putting the new idea into context with their current life. Perhaps you have a full time job and a family to take care of, and simply don't have the time to build a shed. But, and take note of this, a wonderful thing happens when you write down your shed ideas - what you need it for, shed designs etc. - on paper. You brain finds a way to fit it into your schedule. You find that you can break down the projects into steps. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and almost assuming you've got to build the whole shed in one day, you start to realise that you can do a small step every day. It suddenly becomes all the more possible. Who has time for the gym, I mean, seriously. I certainly don't. But I make time, simple as that. I chunk the time it will take and my routine takes shape around everything else I do. So ensure you get ideas out of your crowded head and onto paper, it makes life a lot easier. And if you can, talk to family members about what you will need in your shed. It's too expensive If you pop down to your local hardware store and buy a prefabricated shed then yes, it's going to be expensive. The labour work has already been done and the middleman (the business) has taken out their cut. If you really want to save money then the simple answer is to build your own shed. Now of course, it's very easy me saying this, you have to build it after all. But i remember years ago when I built my first shed... I remember thinking to myself afterwards, "well, that wasn't as hard as I thought!. I was building up the experience to be something of a nightmarish learning curve. The important point is that I have a very high quality set of shed plans - replete with diagrams and measurements - and that is what made my life easy.
