Build Your Own Stacking Rings And Charm Bracelets

Jewellery has always been a popular gift to give on special occasions. Jewellers have seen increased popularity of pendants, stacking rings and charm bracelets, thanks to big jewellery companies like Tiffany and Links of London.

If you want diamonds, white gold and silver all on one finger, then stacking rings are the way to go, as they let you hold as many rings you want. Charm bracelets carry personal charms: decorative pendants or trinkets which signify important things in the wearer's life. Charms are an ideal present for every occasion, including birthdays, Christmas and Valentine's day. Unfortunately not all of us can afford extravagant jewellery prices at Tiffany, so why not make your own simple budget charm bracelet, for friends, children or even for yourself?

Here’s how:

1. Firstly buy some string and some beads to use as charms.
2. If you can’t afford to buy a silver plain bracelet for the base, then cut some string around your wrist so it is loose enough to be able to tie a few knots in.
3. After each knot you make, thread a bead on to the string, then tie another knot straight after that bead. Carry on doing the same until you have the desired amount of charms on your bracelet. Remember to space your beads out evenly so they look like charms.
4. You can also adapt this method by using safety pins in each knot, and threading several beads to each safety pin so you can no longer see the pin.
