Building A Hydrogen Engine - What Not Just Convert Your Car?

So many people rely on petrol as a means of sustaining there commute to work every day, I know that I did. The problem is that we are finding ourselves to be deeper and deeper out of pocket with skyrocketing price of fuel at the moment.
The outrageous growth in fuel costs as they are, really pushed me to do some serious re-planning of my situation. Although our family is very comfortable where we are, I was forced to start thinking about relocating as a means of dropping the commuting costs.
Looking for a way to cheapen the cost of fuel, I found an article similar to this online, which was discussing this new technology called the Hydrogen Car Conversion Kit. I had heard a bit about it before, but never actually considered getting one myself.
When it comes to buying anything online, I am majorly old fashioned. I have troube even buying a book on Amazon, thats how scared I am of it. So if I was going to even think of investing in any sort of “DIY guide” then I was going to do some research first. To see what other’s experiences have been like with.

Being the sceptic that I am I did a ton of background research on the hydro conversion kits and building a hydrogen engine, I discovered that apart from the occasional person who was really bad at putting things together, most people had been quite successful with using the guide to put in the kit, and more importantly their car did not blow up, and they were actually saving a good deal of money on fuel costs.
After doing my research and seeing all the positive feedback that was out there, I was set on the getting the DIY guide. I was lucky enough to find a review site that had done their testing on all the different conversion kits, and had found the best ones. So after choosing the best one, I went ahead and got it.
I must say that I probably would not have gone ahead and bought the guide if there had not been the eight week refund as part of the deal. That really helped to make me feel safer when buying.
I was pleased upon downloading and skipping through the ebook guide, to see that is was well laid out and put together in a pretty good format, and was easy to understand.

After reading through at more detail, I found that the kit was made out of some pretty basic parts, stuff that most people could get a hold of locally with ease. Some of the parts are things like washers, and tubing which is used to connect the kit to the engine.
In most cases the parts mentioned in the guide that are needed to create the kit, are easily found locally. When I was putting mine together I actually found a lot of stuff that was sufficient to use just in my own tool shed. Bonus.
Looking at the system from the perspective of someone who is not particularly knowledgable when it comes to DIY stuff, I would have to say that on the most part the kit was pretty easy to put together. There were one or two things that I got a little bit stuck on, but the customer service was really good for the guide that I bought, and they got me through any hiccups pretty quickly via email.

I really suggest for anyone who is wanting to buy a guide and install the kit that you make yourself a day when you can just focus on getting it done, no distractions. Turn off the phone, send the kids to a friend’s house if you can, and just really get down to it.
At the end of the day of building a hydrogen engine conversion kit, boy, I have to tell you that I was filthy, smelly and I had one hell of an aching back. But despite all that I was really anxious and excited to get it going and test it out. It was time to turn the ignition, and see was this baby could do.

I turned the ignition and…………. yeah, it started up. No smoke, no flames, well so far anyway. I gave it some good revving. Wow, this thing actually makes your car sound healthier than it usually does. I was relieved and impressed to put it mildly.
I needed to take the car for a real test, and so I decided to head out to the main road and get it up to good speed. I must say that it was pretty exciting having this thing set up. It kind of added a whole new level to what is normally just driving.
The results from my little test drive, where quite impressive, the car seemed to be running just fine, in fact really good.
After building the hydrogen engine car conversion kit since then, I can say that the results still impress me. The car runs great, and I would have to say that it even runs better than it did before. In terms of my fuel costs, I am saving around 50% on fuel costs per week on average, of course that varies, depending how and where I am driving, but add that up over a year, and that is a huge saving. Exactly what I needed.

Since using the system now for three months or so, I have saved over a thousand pounds on fuel costs, the impact that this has had on my family budget has been such a godsend. Using the system throughout the next few years is literally going to save me thousands. I am just so glad that I made the choice to install it.
Apart from the great gain of saving money on petrol, there is also the undeniable satisfaction that I get now, knowing that I am doing something that is helping with the current environmental state, which is looking pretty bad to say the least.
Also, with the oil situation the way it is, we are going to start running out of resources pretty soon, and this is just going to keep pushing up the cost of fuel. you think its high right now, I bet you that in just a couple of years, it will have skyrocketed even further than it has already. This makes the idea of hydrogen fuel conversion very, very appealing, and I am sure I am not alone when I say that.
