Bum Marketing Method—using Conclusions In Articles

We've come to expect certain things from movies and books. Naturally, it's expected that there is a good end to the story where the guy gets the girl back, good triumphs over evil, or the earth is saved from certain destruction! Online articles aren't the same as books and movies though, there is a purpose to leaving out the end of the story.

If there were no endings in movies and books, we would all be very confused. We were expecting more to come because we've been conditioned all our lives for there to be a conclusion. So, if we leave the conclusion off our reader will, at least subconsciously, feel like there must be more to come. More which they find the resource box, and at our website or squidoo lens. They are compelled to click thru to satisfy that psychological pre-conditioned need.

Articles aren't meant to be novels, they are simply a method of sharing information or showcasing a product. If you have something that really works, you're not going to write a 400 page book about it, write an article! And let the reader come to your product to learn more.
