We all knew that bunk beds are capable of saving you lots of space in an efficient manner right? The way stackable bunk beds can literally fit two beds in the size of one can be very useful for those small bedrooms. Bunk beds make it possible for kids to share a room and still not feel too crowded. Aside from the fact that kids love bunk beds, it’s safe to say that most parents opt for a bunk bed in order to save money. But did you know that bunk beds can easily save you money?
When I looked into bunk beds and the price difference between various beds, I actually did some calculations to see how much money I would save. To no surprise, bunk beds can save you money! On various websites, a standard twin size bed can cost anywhere from $250 to $500. Keep in mind that these are simply standard beds with no fillers as more complex twin size beds can cost much more. If you want something a bit more fancy, it comes with a cost. I would estimate that an extravagant bed would cost anywhere between $500 to thousands of dollars. Of course this is purely personal preference but depending on what you and your kids want, beds can be quite expensive!
In contrast, standard twin size bunk beds range from $350 to $600 for a very simple bunk bed made out of standard materials such as wood or metal. Relative to a simple twin size bed, these bunk beds are still just as beautiful! Also, with the extensive variety of bunk beds available today, I would find it highly difficult to find a beautiful bunk bed that is not on-par with an expensive standard twin size bed. Most bunk beds, like normal beds, increase in price as the design goes up. In addition, you can add upgrades to your bunkbed for a fairly cheap price. Drawers, trundle beds, and desks are a few of the upgradable options that are available for much cheaper than a standard drawer, bed, or desk. With that in mind, if you are shopping for two twin size beds, why spend more when you can save yourself a significant amount of money? Also keep in mind that many bunk beds can be separated into two twin size beds!
If you are in the market for a couple new beds for your kids, I highly suggest you look into the price difference. You can save a good amount of space in your children’s bedroom and also save lots of money.
