Buy A House With No Money Down

Owning their own home has long been a dream of most people. Unfortunately, the way the economy has been lately has caused that dream to seem impossible for most of us. If you want to purchase a home, you are going to need a nearly perfect credit rating, a lot of money to put down up front, and some kind of equity. Have we reached the point where not having the money for a down payment means you can never purchase a home?

Do you not only not have a lot of ready money but a job that doesn't pay the big bucks? If so, you may want to put off buying that dream home for a little while longer.

Or, instead of shooting for the stars, aim for the more reachable mountain tops. Instead of going for the super deluxe dream home, look at the more reasonably priced 'budget' or 'starter' homes. They may not be worth as much in terms of the home itself, but the property may rise in value.

If you are facing foreclosure on a home that you currently own, you may want to look into the option of getting a bad credit second mortgage, or consider selling the house outright and moving into one of these starter homes we've discussed.

There are options out there for people who have no money to put down on a home; you just need to consider them and choose which one is best for you. Remember, you CAN purchase a home even if you don't have the money to put down on a down payment; you just have to search, consider all of the available options, and make the choice that works best for you.
