Buying Epson Ink Cartridges

Epson ink cartridges are known for their high quality and their quick dry inks. Epson ink cartridges are also smudge resistant, so that when your copies come off the printer, they can be handled immediately without having to let the ink dry on the paper before touching. That is the purpose of a quick dry ink product. Generally, the ink cartridges made for an Epson printer come in black, yellow, magenta, light magenta, cyan, which is blue, and light cyan. Light magenta is close to pink. When used in a printer, these ink cartridges can produce hundreds of different color combinations, so that all of your color printing and various tones of black come out looking vivid and lifelike. With individual Epson ink cartridges, you can replace each one as it runs out instead of replacing a large combination-ink cartridge, which generally includes the three main colors and black all in one cartridge.

When you are looking for or comparing the different ink cartridges, you will want to decide first what type of printing you do most. If you produce a large volume of typical documents of text, you really dont require a high quality color ink cartridge. If you are going to print mostly high quality photographs, you will want to get one of the Epson ink cartridges that are made specifically for this purpose. Since you have an Epson printer, you will need to get the corresponding Epson ink cartridges for it. Printer models dont generally use other brands of ink cartridge and some wont even print if you install an off-brand in the printer. Epson ink cartridges also use the piezoelectric system, which has a crystal in each nozzle and no heating element. This system can produce a smaller drop of ink through a series of differential pressure, which opens the valve and disperses the ink drop. It even has the ability to produce several different drop sizes depending on the print quality required.

When you are looking at branded ink cartridges, you will generally find that the well known manufactures of printers and the corresponding ink cartridges produce a high cartridge paper yield. You should generally get approximately 1000 pages per cartridge for general printing. Good quality ink cartridges will also produce consistent image and print quality. Most machines dont recommend the use of generic ink cartridges and in fact some wont print unless you have inserted a genuine, make-specific ink cartridge. In some cases, this will void any warranty. In some cases, it will also trigger a printing error message and simply wont proceed with the printing. Naturally, when ink cartridges cost a lot of money compared to the printers, you may go looking for cheaper choices. But it has been shown that the generics just dont perform as well as the make-specific ink cartridges do.

When you are looking for high quality printing and excellent ink cartridge yields, Epson ink cartridges wont disappoint, nor will they produce streaking or ink blobs.
