Camp Rock Birthday Party Ideas

There is a phenomenon from Disney that kids love. It is called Camp Rock and it follows the exploits of some teenagers at a rock and roll camp where kids learn how to become rock stars. One of the main attractions of this show is that it features the Jonas Brothers. If your child has seen this show, you might be asked by them to provide a Camp Rock themed birthday. It is not a hard task, but without some preparation, it can be a difficult task to accomplish.

Be a Rock Star
Before the birthday party, write out a bunch of names of rock stars on cards that the kids will pick their names out of. You will also have to make sure you have wardrobe items available as well. So, when the kids pick, if someone gets Elvis Presley, then give them the cardboard cutout of a guitar that they can decorate, and give them a small white jacket like Elvis would wear. This is a large project for you, but the kids will love it. Ensure that you allow the kids to re-pick if they want someone different (it is unlikely a boy will want to be Madonna). There is also nothing wrong with duplicates.

Rock Pictures
After the kids are dressed like their rock stars, you can take pictures of them in rock and roll poses (guitar in the air, etc.) The kids will love this and you can even edit them on the computer so the kids have a background of a stage, and their rock and roll name on the picture.

Watch Camp Rock
After all is said and done, you can take a break while the kids watch Camp Rock on the television, and you prepare the pictures, get the cake ready, or put out the presents. When you need a break, there is no better way to handle the kids than this.
