Camping For Newbies
You may be thinking of a family holiday with the kids or a romantic trip away with your lover. Whatever the reason, camping hits all the right buttons if you go about it in the right way. Camping does not need to be a primitive holiday or break. It doesn't cost a lot to take most of the luxuries of home with you, and remember this. Once you have the kit, it's there for years. After your first holiday the kit is available to you at no further cost. When it comes to deciding as to what type of camping you want to do you may decide to use a motor home or a modern tent. My choice will always be the tent. Unlike a motor home tents are inexpensive to buy, don't depreciate in value and cost nothing to run. If you are a camping newbie, and particularly if you are taking young children I would recommend starting out on a commercial camping site. That way the kids will usually find plenty of play equipment and you can take advantage of the facilities. These facilities will normally include electric hook-up, laundrette and showers etc. You can add to this biking, fishing, hiking, bird watching and most important of all ( for the kids ), me time with Mom and Dad. They'll love you for it! I have no doubt that you will enjoy your first camping trip and will be pleasantly surprised at how cheap it is. Remember this. Once you have the kit you can use it for odd days away or maybe a weekend away. It doesn't have to be a week or more to get away from things and recharge your batteries. The kids can have fun at home too, maybe a sleep over in your back yard with their friends. And finally. Have your first camping trip and then think of what your next camping holiday will be like now that you are no longer a newbie. Since you already have everything you need, all bought and paid for, it will only cost you the fuel to get to your destination and the modest overnight charge made by the camping site owner.
