Can't Pay Bills This Month? Discover How To Get Rid Of Your Money Problems Once And For All

Can't pay bills this month? Finding that more and more of your income is being siphoned off to the credit card companies, and yet the balances don't seem to be going down at all? You are not alone. More and more families are finding themselves in this predicament, seemingly unable to get ahead. There are methods you can use to get ahead. None of them are going to be easy, but all will get you out of debt. The rollup or snowball strategy is one such method.

To get out of debt using the rollup strategy is fairly straight forward, and you start by gathering all your credit card information together and determining which card has either the lowest balance or the highest interest rate. If that happens to be the same card, you've avoided a decision. With this strategy you can start with the lowest balance to give yourself a psychological boost when it's paid off or you can start with the highest interest rate card to avoid paying that rate any longer than you have to. The decision is up to you.

Ok, so you've chosen which card to start with. The idea is to put towards that balance as much as you can afford to without neglecting paying the minimums on your other cards. Try to come up with a figure you can maintain until the card is paid off.

Once the first card is paid in full, start on the next card. Take the entire amount you were paying on the previous card and add it to the minimum of the current card. Keep paying in this manner until this card is paid in full. Continue on to the next card. With each paid off card, the amount you can apply to the next card grows quickly, and each subsequent card will be paid off faster.

Most people that stick to this faithfully will find that their credit card bills are paid off in 3 to 5 years. Now if you wish, you can apply the funds to your mortgage. In this way you can be completely out of debt in about 10 years. Can't pay bills will be but a memory!
